Guided by the rich tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and the religious principles of the Mercedarian Order, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School has consciously emphasized high expectations for superior achievement since our establishment in 1949.

The true hallmark of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Schools is our highly trained and uniquely qualified teaching and support staff. Serving an enrollment of 260 Pre-K through 8th grade students, a majority of our staff has earned Masterís level degrees. And more than half of our teachers are members of the Mercedarian religious order ñ priests, brothers, and sisters.
As a vital learning center, we strive to ensure that our mission ñ to guide children to live their lives according to the examples of Mary our Mother of Mercy and her son Jesus Christ ñ begins in the classroom and reaches out to the community-at-large through our students.
We heartily encourage the exchange of ideas and information between parents/guardians, students and teachers on all matters.
