We honor the dignity and the rights of students to achieve their academic potential and grow in their faith in a peaceful atmosphere free of prejudice. We are committed to providing a quality education to all children of families desiring a faith-based education founded on Catholic values, principles, and traditions.

School Description:
Holy Name Elementary School is located on the corner of Harvard and Broadway at the gateway of Clevelandís Slavic Village Neighborhood. Established in 1860, Holy Name School has provided the educational foundation for many of those who are now the areaís civic, business, and religious leaders.

Holy Name School welcomes students from all ethnicities and religions. Our current enrollment is 234 students.

In addition to the core curriculum, students at Holy Name Elementary School participate in art, drama, and music on a weekly basis. We strive to provide our students with the best student-centered instruction available in the arts areas, as well as integrate arts subject matter into the core curriculum areas as much as possible.

At Holy Name Elementary School, we strive to provide a well-rounded education for our students. One program we have in place to accomplish this is our Co-Curricular Clubs which meet during the school day, every other Tuesday afternoon. Students have the opportunity to choose an activity that interests them and participate in it for one quarter. Club memberships consist of students in grades K-4, 4-6, or 6-8. Enrollment in the clubs changes each quarter. There are no fees associated with our Co-Curricular Clubs. The clubs being offered during the 2007-2008 school year are: Seasonal Books and Crafts, Science Fun, Tap Dancing, Drawing, Club Invention, Games, Arts/Crafts, Chess, Fiber Arts, Creative Writing, Video Yearbook, Fun with Words
We also are proud to offer Extra-curricular Activities in which students may participate outside of the regular school day:
